Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as a note?
Each promissory note you service on the platform counts as one note. If you hold three seller-financed notes on three properties, that’s three notes.
How do I upgrade from the Free Tier?
You can upgrade at any time from your account settings. Your existing data carries over — no migration needed.
How does billing work?
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly based on the number of active notes in your account. You can cancel anytime and retain access through the end of your billing period.
What is the transaction fee?
When borrowers make payments through the platform via Stripe, a 0.8% fee (capped at $5 per transaction) applies. This fee is paid by the borrower by default, but you can choose to absorb it in your account settings.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access to paid features through the end of your billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free Tier. Your data is preserved — you just need to reduce to 3 notes or resubscribe to access servicing features.
