Frequently Asked Questions
- What counts as a note?
- Each promissory note you service on the platform counts as one note. If you hold three seller-financed notes on three properties, that’s three notes.
- How do I upgrade from the Free Tier?
- You can upgrade at any time from your account settings. Your existing data carries over — no migration needed.
- How does billing work?
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly based on the number of active notes in your account. You can cancel anytime and retain access through the end of your billing period.
- What is the transaction fee?
- When borrowers make payments through the platform via Stripe, a 0.8% fee (capped at $5 per transaction) applies. This fee is paid by the borrower by default, but you can choose to absorb it in your account settings.
- What happens if I cancel?
- You keep access to paid features through the end of your billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free Tier. Your data is preserved — you just need to reduce to 3 notes or resubscribe to access servicing features.
